The Court, stated that playing the KHEL INDIA fantasy game involves game of skill, right judgement and attention and that developed by users’ practice, sports knowledge, experience and decision taking skill.
We are designed all the contests in KHEL INDIA platform to comply with applicable statutes and regulations in India. Also Court held that KHEL INDIA as a legitimate business activity protected under Article 19(1)(g) of the Constitution of India.
The Court also held that ‘the game of skill’ is the key of the outcome of the fantasy game like KHEL INDIA. A challenge to this judgement was also dismissed by the Supreme Court of India.
‘Games of Skill’, under Indian law, are excluded from the ambit of gambling legislations and other state enactments except in the Restricted States. The Court adjudged that playing on KHEL INDIA exclude from the provisions of the Public Gambling Act, 1867 (PGA).
